EURCAW Ruminants & Equines has published a new response to a question regarding accidental lead poisoning in cattle.

The requester inquired about the effects of acute, sub-acute, and chronic lead poisoning on cattle welfare. The Question to EURCAW (Q2E) response also addresses the half-life of lead in blood and examines the connection between lead levels in blood versus muscle tissue.

This Q2E service is open to Competent Authorities and government policy workers within EU Member States.
