TransformDairyNet Wants to Hear from You: What Do You Think About Cow-Calf Contact?
© Pomies D
On most dairy farms, calves are separated from their mothers soon after birth. With cow-calf contact (CCC) systems, they stay together for a longer period. But how much do consumers know about this approach, and what do they think about it?
The European project TransformDairyNet wants to hear from you, whether you know farming inside out or have never given these practices much thought. Your views on how dairy products, veal and beef are produced are valuable, even if you don’t buy these products yourself.
The survey will help researchers understand consumer awareness and opinions of cow-calf contact systems, which produce both milk and beef, and support the development of these practices across Europe.
Deadline: 30 October 2026
Every perspective counts!
