EURCAW Ruminants & Equines has launched its official YouTube channel, marking a new step in the dissemination of the Centre’s scientific work. Through the use of video content, the Reference Centre aims to broaden access to its research outputs and technical guidance. The new format is intended to make complex scientific information more accessible to audiences across the European Union, supporting knowledge transfer and practical application in the field.

The channel’s first video focuses on the thermal comfort of ruminants and equines. Based on the recently published thematic factsheet, authored by Lydiane Aubé and Isabelle Veissier, the video explains how these species adapt to different thermal conditions and presents evidence-based recommendations to support their physiological needs.

In addition to outlining scientific guidance, the video and its corresponding factsheet detail the relevant EU legislative requirements concerning thermal comfort.
