The first in-person meeting of the European Knowledge and Innovation Network (EKIN) of the TransformDairyNet (TDN) project, will take place on the 22^nd of May 2025 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

TransformDairyNet is a European initiative focused on supporting the transition toward sustainable dairy farming, with a particular focus on cow-calf contact (CCC) systems. EKIN is a central pillar of the project – a collaborative network that brings together farmers, advisors, researchers, and policymakers from across Europe to exchange knowledge, guide project direction, and explore innovative solutions.

This inaugural EKIN meeting will also showcase the work of the National Innovation Practice Hubs (NIPs) of TDN, which act as local knowledge core, working on CCC practices. The event will foster dialogue between on-the-ground experiences and strategic discussions, helping ensure that practical insights shape future innovation and policy.
